We love board games at my house and with all the age ranges of my kids, sometimes the quick and easy games are my favorite because everyone can play and no one gets bored. That is what I like about our Goliath Games! Typically, all my boys can play it and they have a blast with it.
With Spring Break around the corner, there are days when my kids are off school and they just want to have a PJ Day and watch movies and play games, so if that’s your kiddos too, check out these new games we are trying out and love!
Who Tooted?!!
In this rip-roaring game of gassy good times, everybody gets a whoopee cushion shaped controller to control the flatulence. When the controllers light up, only one person can push the button to make a “toot” sound–the other players have to guess who did it! Can you keep a straight face, or will your friends know that YOU are the one who tooted in this fun-filled fart game!?! With 10 different giggle-inducing sound effects.
My boys LOVED this game!!! They thought it was the funniest thing… and let’s be honest, with 3 boys, my life is filled with talk of poop and toots all the time LOL! This gave them a great outlet to laugh at themselves and have fun with each other!
Hydro Strike
Get ready to make a splash with Hydro Strike! In this head-to-head pinball game, you’ll need fast flipping fingers to shoot the ball into your opponent’s goal. Score, and your opponent will get sprayed in the face with water! Since a sprayer is aimed at both players, strike quick when you play, or you’ll get the spray! The first player to score 5 times wins.
Any game that adds another fun element outside the typical game “box”, my boys gravitate towards. They loved Pie Face because it involved whip cream. They are OBSESSED with Hydro Strike because they get to squirt each other with water!! Since they get in trouble for taking my water bottles in the house and spraying each other down (which they try and do DAILY!), this makes it ok to spray each other because it’s in a game LOL! So they get what they want and mama doesn’t have to clean up a wet floor!
Masermind
Test your code-cracking prowess with Mastermind, the challenging game of logic and deduction. Can you crack the code in 10 moves or less? Can you create a code that can’t be cracked? Mastermind is a great strategy game…and one of the world’s most popular games ever. It’s easy to learn and fast to play and with thousands of code possibilities, it’s different every time. The Codemaker sets a secret code, then the Codebreaker tries to match the code using logic, deduction and maybe a little bit of luck. After each move, the Codemaker gives clues to the Codebreaker. Make the code even more devious by using multiple pegs of the same color or by leaving one or more peg holes empty. With so many possible code combinations, every game is guaranteed to be a brainteaser.
This game was AWESOME for my oldest Cody and his buddies. Some of the neighborhood kids were over and they were playing two against two since you can only play 2 players. They loved coming up with strategies with one another and I liked how the possibilities were endless!
I would love to hear your kids favorite board games and why?! This post is sponsored by Goliath Games and Pressman Toys. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks for reading!
