Archery Arena
That is when I started letting my older boys pick a place to have their birthdays so it was one less thing for me to. This year Cody wanted to try a nerf gun party and as I was searching for options, I came across Combat Archery at Archery Arena.
I had never heard of it before and I knew Cody had never been to a birthday party for it either. This is a win-win because it is hard to find something fun and new for the kids to try as they all seem to have their parties are the same places.
Combat Archery
Combat Archery (aka Archery Tag) is a lot like the game of dodgeball, only with specialty made foam tipped arrows! The ultimate objective is to eliminate the other team by tagging them with arrows. Combat Archery is a safe, fun and an adrenaline-packed sport that can be played by up to 20 people split into two teams!
Birthday Party Fun
If you’re ready to take your child’s birthday party to the next level, I would highly recommend Archery Arena. They have to be at least 7 years old to participate. A few of the boys were worried about the arrow hurting. I am confident to say that the impact feel very similar to getting hit with a dodgeball! In addition, they have protective face gear on during the entire match so they are completely protected.
During the birthday party they receive extended archery training with a skilled staff member so no precious archery experience is required. The kids are then able to battle it out in the arena, playing a variety of games during the 1 hour game play in the arena. After the battle, you get 45 minutes of access to the party room where you can bring in your own food and drinks, along with any decorations.
This wasn’t as full service as some of the other places I have had birthday parties. Although I have liked having a specific person assigned to party places in the past, I liked that I was able to do what I wanted in the party room. There was no limitations as to what food and drink I brought in and I didn’t have to tip anyone at the end so I was able to save some money.
All the boys had an absolute BLAST and I even had moms texting me after the party to tell me what a great time their boys had. I think out of the 10 boys we had, only 1 of them had ever done it before so it was something fun and unique they were all able to try out together.
I would recommend having your party get there early so they can get you set up with all of your protective gear and pictures before they go in and sweat it out in the arena. There is a viewing area so little ones and parents can watch the entire game. Archery Arena does provide plates, napkins and tablecloths, but the rest is your responsibility so you can go as simple or extravagant as you want.

Overall, I highly recommend this as your next birthday party destination. It was fun, unique and great party for all ages! My husband ended up taking my middle sons spot because he got nervous and even he said it was a great time! This would even be great for corporate outings and family fun time together.
