I have a heart for exploring and my kids do too. There is so much to do in the City of Cincinnati. I hope this post inspires you to take some adventures with your kiddos! A lot of what we do is FREE! This is just a short description, but our favorite book, Adventures Around Cincinnati, really goes into much more detail so you can decide if it is something you would like :) You can also check out your local park, Library storytimes and activities, movies in the park, summer concert series near you and local festivals.
I try to organize our week like this: we always have one pool day, a Kings Island or Zoo day (kids pick), and we choose one new “adventure day” a week. The one new adventure is a list we make before school is out so that is our official Summer Bucket List. Then we have two free days to do what we want whether it’s another pool day, meeting up with friends or just lying around the house. I like to run around, BUT I need my down time and so do my kids :)
