Blooms and Berries Fall on the Farm is back and in full swing! This 61-acre family farm located in Loveland, Ohio, offers a day’s worth of Fall favorites for the whole family. Start by taking a 30-minute hayride through their beautiful woods and out to the pumpkin patch. Then, explore the play area’s “sand” box filled with corn, the tractor-tire mountain and the giant 20-foot slide. If you’re up for a challenge, see if you can solve the game in the 7-acre corn maze. There’s also a kid’s corn maze that’s perfect for the little ones. Speaking of the kids, they will love the cow train ride, and they will get a chance to meet a bunch of farm animal friends – goats, miniature donkeys, cows, lambs, ducks, chickens, turkeys and bunnies. For the book lovers out there, read the story about Spookley the Square Pumpkin and the 3 Billy Goats through the gorgeous Sunflower field. They have added several new attractions this year that my kiddos enjoyed including a huge sandbox, a life-size connect 4 game, “Who’s the Scarecrow” game, and a kids hay maze. We had a blast playing on some of their oldies but goodies: Tug O’ War, the Swinging Horses, the kids slide and try to hoola hoop the wooden horse. There is so much to do that everyone will surely have a favorite thing!
We have visited several local farms and I can honestly say Blooms and Berries has the largest variety of fun family adventures. They also have a large store with plenty of Halloween and Fall decor, delicious foods and brand new this year, FUDGE! We tried the Chocolate PB and it was divine!
