Who doesn’t LOVE Frisch’s??!!! I have fond memories as a teenager, driving my sister and I there to indulge on a Big Boy and their famous tartar sauce! I love it just as much as an adult and my kiddos now carry on the tradition of loving the yumminess that is a BIG BOY!!!! Do I have your mouth-watering yet??!
I was super excited when I was asked last year to tour the Frisch’s Commissary to see how they make their homemade pumpkin pies! They even let me bring the littles which I thought was amazing because it shows how family centered they truly are. I recently was asked to visit one of the local Frisch’s to try some new menu items, including a twist on an old favorite…. the Hot Fudge Cake.
Frisch’s has some exciting things that have been happening for them over the last year. They are revamping some of their restaurants and adding new menu items. Don’t worry, they won’t be taking away any of our favorites!! Trust me, I would personally picket if they took away the Big Boy and fries LOL!
Right now you can enjoy a choice of 5 different family dinners for just $7.99. These include Carved Turkey, Country Fried Chicken, Roast Beef or Meatloaf. They are served with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. I love home cooked meals that I didn’t have to actually cook :)
Frisch’s has also taken their popular Hot Fudge Cake up a notch with PEPPERMINT! They have added their own homemade peppermint ice-cream and topped the cake with crushed peppermint! IT IS THE BOMB!!!
These are a special treat, available for a limited time, in honor of the Nutcracker. Frisch’s is proud of its rich history of community support. From the very first performance of “The Nutcracker” in 1974, Frisch’s Restaurants has been the Cincinnati Ballet’s primary sponsor. It is one of the longest-lasting examples of corporate sponsorship in American arts history. So as part of that partnership, Frisch’s worked with members of the Cincinnati Ballet to launch this delicious peppermint creation. The Peppermint Hot Fudge cake is only available until February 7th so go and get yours NOW!! This is the first time since this original dessert debuted in restaurants in 1970 that it has been offered in another flavor, but don’t worry the Original fudge cake will also still be available at restaurants so take your pick or indulge in both!
