Cincy Blow Dry Bar & Salon

I blogged last year about my experience with the Cincy Blow Dry Bar and Salon. I had my first blowout and it was fantastic and lasted 4 days which was AMAZING! You can check out my post here and see my before and after pics.  

Last week we had a GNO event there where everyone got pampered with their choice of blowouts, spray tans, makeup and facials. This would be something great for not only GNO, but baby or bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday parties or just any excuse to get the girls together! They provide wine, mimosas, and water and each of us brought apps and desserts to share so we had lots of grub and the drinks were flowing. It was FABULOUS! 

The first thing that sets this Blow Dry Bar and Salon apart from the rest is the ambiance. The colors are vibrant and bright and it’s just super girly and fancy. The blow dry bar is in the front of the salon and then they have a full service salon in the back half of the space. 

One thing I love about the salon is that a lot of their products are more natural, using less harsh chemicals which is always a plus for me. I had never had a spray tan for this reason. I was so concerned about the toxins that are in the spray, but the type they use (which is the same that is used on Dancing with the Stars!) is a much more natural brand so I went for it and I have to say am a bit obsessed! It gave me the most natural glow and color and I was getting a TON of compliments on my skin the days following my spray tan. Here is is almost a week later and I still have a nice color from it. It only took about 10 minutes total from undressing to the spray and then drying off/ getting dressed. Not bad for only 10 minutes of my time :) I will definitely utilize this service again. There is nothing quite like a tan- you feel 10 pounds lighter!! 

The girls that got the facial said it was the BEST facial they have ever had! I had a haircut, spray tan and  make-up  so I didn’t have time for the facial so I HAVE to go back and try it out, especially because all the girls were raving about it! 

I have been getting my hair cut shorter and shorter over the last few months, so while I was there I had their top stylist chop it even more. She did a great job and knew exactly what I wanted. Before we left, I had their make-up artist teach me how to do a smokey eye. It seemed easy enough, but you know you can never replicate it like they do! She did such an amazing job on everyone’s make-up. 

Overall, we had such a wonderful night of pampering, food, drinks and fun! The entire staff there is so sweet, amazingly talented and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking them out. If nothing else, their blowouts start at just $35 so you can check that out on the cheap and get more info about their other products and services. Happy Pampering!!
