We love reading at our house and when I was approached by Crayon Crunch to try out their amazingly illustrated and personalized book I jumped at the chance! My boys love checking out books from the library or picking out books from school, but this book goes far beyond that because it is unique to each child.
In the book, My Magical Adventure, you get to send your child on a one of a kind adventure. The main character learns that it’s fun to pose as clowns, archaeologists, and artists, but that is certainly not all there is to it. They then decide that while it’s fun to pretend to be someone else, it’s not so bad to be him/herself, either! I love that it is a book filled with fun and exploration, but also teaches them a life lesson about loving who they are as a person, having pride in themselves and fostering a strong self-esteem. 
You choose and combine different hairstyles, hair colors, skin tones, facial features, eye colors, clothing, additional options and possible disabilities to create the lead character…. your child!!! You will also be able to customize the lead character’s name so as they are reading, they realize the main character is them! My boys LOVED that each of the books said their name and the main character in the book looked like them! You could have your child help you design their avatar or do it yourself and surprise them, just in time for the Holidays! What a great gift for a child- instill the love of reading and spark their imagination using them as the main character!
My Magical Adventure is the first book to allow any ethnicity or disability represented in any book. The creators of the book believe every child should have the opportunity to go on an adventure, even if the adventure is fictional. I know all of us mamas can appreciate the time, thought and effort that went into making that a reality for each and every one of our kids!
As an added bonus, once the main character finishes their quest for the key to open a chest in the attic they find a personalized note written by you!! They really have thought of everything with this book.
