Mongoram Online has been running a lot of specials on their products over the holidays. They have some gorgeous items and I was given the opportunity to review one of their monogrammed necklaces and share my thoughts with you. A girlfriend of mine received a similar necklace as a push present and it is gorgeous so I was super excited to get one for myself.
I chose the Traditional Silver Monogram Necklace. I only had the option to get the 1 inch to review or pay extra for a larger pendant. I will say the necklace is beautiful, but it is a little small. I think the 1 inch would be a perfect size for a child, but as an adult I would go just a little larger. You can go up to 2 inches which would be a little big for my taste, but one of the other sizes in-between the 1 inch and 2 inch would be perfect, in my opinion. I went with the 18 inch necklace which I think is the perfect length. The 16 inch would be a little longer than choker length and I feel like the 18 inch sits in just the right spot on me. The chain is very thin and dainty which I really like, but you can also upgrade to different chains that are thicker if that is your preference.

Overall, I do really like the necklace. It is such a beautiful piece on and very dainty which I think a piece of jewelry like this needs to be. I wear a lot of costume jewelry that is thick and chunky, but something like this needs to be very light and feminine and it is just that. They are offering a $39 special right now which is a huge discount off the $99 original price and would make for a great gift at that price. It does take several weeks to ship so if you are getting this as a gift make sure you allow plenty of time to receive it.

I ordered a necklace and now that I am trying to get an update on the progress it just says "in production". Can you tell me how many weeks it took for you to receive your necklace? It's going on 3 weeks and I was hoping to give this to my daughter for her birthday in 7 more days.
Hi Angela! Unfortunately, mine took about 5 weeks to get. I did receive a confirmation email that it was being shipped and then it came about 4 days later. Hope that helps! I was bummed it took so long, but it was such a great deal it was hard to pass up! I hope you get yours in time!!! I had such a hard time getting ahold of someone about the dumb shipping policies. They WILL NOT combine orders, you have to ship separately. This is not only creating more packing materials, but also energy to ship things that are so light and small, it would be easy to combine (pillow cases). I'm not a fan of this company's business ethics and will use someone local next time!
