Inside every little boy is a budding pilot – as soon as they start to walk they want to be up, up and away! Treat your mini Top Gun to a true high flying experience this Yuletide and get him the Disney Planes Micro Drifter Playset for some after-dinner fun.
Dad Can Join in Too
This playset isn’t just for the littlies, as it requires adult supervision and construction – and we all know what that means, right? Dad has to get involved. The playset comes complete with Dusty Crophopper, but you can swell the ranks of racers and reduce family squabbles as there are several add-on packs, each containing three characters from the 2013 film. There’s El Chupacabra, Ripslinger, Dottie and the rest of the gang, so you can pick your favorites and pit them against one another.
A Bit of Background
One of the best features about the Disney Planes Micro Drifter Playset is the fact it comes with a poster that shows an aerial scene. You can fix this poster to your wall to add a bit of realism to the many races that are sure to be played out. An extra touch of realism is added by the fact that the tracks the little planes run (sorry, fly…) down are translucent, so it almost looks as if they are genuinely flying and looping backwards and forwards through the air.
Fly the Friendly Skies
Once you’ve assembled the tracks, stuck all the decal stickers and put up the poster, you can race up to three of your little planes at once. The Disney Planes Micro Drifter Playset takes around ten minutes or so to put together, and it has a really handy wall mounting feature which means once it’s up it stays stable and doesn’t take up too much room.
