I remember when New Year’s Eve was about staying up all night and ringing in the New Year with a bang.As a parent, you may be able to get a sitter, but it really isn’t as much fun staying up into the wee hours of the morning when you have to get up to energetic kids at 7am!
We were invited to a family New Year’s Eve party this year, but it doesn’t start until 7pm and unfortunately, that is my kids bedtime. I was SO excited to see that Newport Aquarium was offering a kids New Year’s Eve party at a KID FRIENDLY TIME, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 31. Q102 personality Katie Walters and friends will be there to make sure the kids have a blast, with music, dancing, giveaways, hats, noisemakers and more! At 5 p.m. Scuba Santa will lead everyone in an early countdown to 2013! It’s all free with your admission to the Newport Aquarium. I absolutely LOVE the aquarium and they have a NEW gator alley exhibit I am excited to check out! I know Grayson will love looking at all the aquatic life and Cody has always been so interested in checking every little thing out when we go.
