I had a super fun Girl’s Day this past weekend at my house with good food, some cocktails, shopping and my girls! When you become a mom, it is hard to do all those things, let alone at once! Cody is eating off my plate, I rarely get my cocktails, I never get to see my girls (and when I do the kids are normally with me so I spend most of the time half listening because I have to keep my eyes on the kiddos!) and I never get to shop!!
Most moms I know are trying to do it all, juggling everything, and these women I had host the shopping part of party are amazingly smart and driven mamas. They are doing it all and then some. I always talk about supporting working moms who are “self-employed” and the party I hosted was to do just that. It was the best of both worlds…. I get to see my girly’s and support the working mom, all while having a blast!
