Both Kim and I have been talking about how much we both are in LOVE with Pinterest and here is another great idea I stole from there :) FLUBBER! My little brother (who is 12) ended up coming over for the weekend at the last minute. I wanted to have something fun that I could do with him and Cody. When I looked at ideas on Pinterest I found the FLUBBER recipe and since there were only a few ingredients I figured that was it!
It was super easy to make (less than 5 mintues), just a few ingredients that you probably already have (so super cheap) and it becomes a cool little science project because the kids can see how the different ingredients form a chemical reaction when mixed together!
The boys literally played with it for hours! It was SOOO much fun- I even got roped into playing with it!
This really is totally awesome and tons of fun for the kids.. and YOU! We actually rolled it into balls and played basketball with it! There is a lot of glue in it so make sure your kids are of the age where they wouldn’t put it in their mouth or sniff it continuously! I keep all of our yogurt containers for crafts and it fit perfectly in that (split into two- it makes a lot!) and stays good as long as you keep it from drying out! Have fun!!
