Getting What Body Back??!

I have made it my goal to try to get back into shape a little quicker this time around… ok so it took me 2 years to get back to my pre-baby weight the first time so is it too much to ask to drop the weight a little faster this time?! Again, I have been making a conscious effort so there are some things I have done differently this time that I feel have made a difference and although I haven’t lost a ton, I feel like things are going back much faster than they did with my first pregnancy.

  1. I started working out right at the 6 week mark. Grant it, I may only workout 2-3 times a week, but it is better than nothing! I don’t beat myself up about how long or how hard the workout is… I just do it! Some days it may only be 20 minutes! One thing that I love about taking my jogger out is that when Grayson doesn’t want to nap, I can throw the boys in there, get some exercise and Grayson will fall asleep along the way which makes for a more sane mommy :) I must say on days I am running with them in the neighborhood, I miss my stroller strong classes. The comradery of other moms, the killer workouts and the other kids for Cody to play with really made it fun to workout! If you are close to the Hyde Park area I HIGHLY recommend checking out a class. You will love it!

O.k. so maybe I bundled Grayson a little too much, but it was pretty cold :)

  1. I have used some of the mama mio products (which I LOVE) and I do feel like they have tightened and toned my midsection and thighs a little. The  Mama Mio Bootcamp for Tummies Skincare & Exercise, only 4 minutes a day for 30 days to Love Your Tummy is pretty sweet. They have a ton of great products and although some of them don’t rank below a 3 on the cosmetic database, they don’t have any of the big nasties in their products!
  2. The Belly Bandit. Read the review– this is a MUST for post prego bodies!
 It is hard because I feel my jelly belly moving under my clothes and I try on my shirts and pants and IF they fit, they don’t look the same. I just want the weight to come off NOW!!!  :) I know that it is going to take time to get back in shape and I just need to remind myself of this…. daily!!

Love that jogger!! I can't wait for our road to get done so I can go walks with Luke as he rides his bike! Keep going girl – the weight will fall off before you know it!! You look fab! -Kim
