Sorry to get this post out so late… better late than never right!? We are just getting home from Cumberland so this is the first chance I have had to look at a computer!
We had a nice long weekend at our place in Cumberland (thursday-monday)! Kim and I always talk about things that allow us to “regroup”. She has her gorgeous house located on 10 acres away from the city and everyone else and I have our little plot of land in Cumberland. It gives us a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and slow things down a bit. It only takes us about 3 hours so we can take little mini vacas over the weekends. We relax at the house, go boating, drive the golf cart around, sit out by the fire, play cards and just have some fun!!
This was a pretty exciting trip because we were taking Grayson for the first time. Cody was so excited to show him everything and we were excited to have the “four of us” make the trip! The car ride down went pretty well and everyone got adjusted to having a little one at the house over the last few days. We were even able to get Grayson out on the boat for a few hours!! Overall, it was a great trip! Happy Labor Day and happy One Month Grayson! If you have never been to Lake Cumberland I highly recommend going!! It is a ton of fun and a great place to get away as a family that isn’t too far from Cincy! What did you do over the holiday weekend??

Thanks ladies! I was a little worried about the car ride, but was itching to get to camp with both the boys! We took Cody when he was 4 weeks too…. I can’t believe it either- already a month! -Jen
